Canadian Crypto-zoology on TV

Sketching
Thanks to james_nicoll for the news.

This could be entertaining.

Have to admit that I rarely get to watch the parent series, but this could draw me in...

It's on Netflix. Be warned they have degrees in carrying the Idiot Ball.

Good grief, mate, you haven't been reading my blog lately have you? Have written quite a few posts about Primeval: New World, and am very fond of the parent UK tv series.

Frankly, the UK series is enjoyable enough if you're willing to let some of the stuff go by and think of each tv season (there were five) as a short story or novella, where stuff happens off-screen. That said, it's about the modern day with dinosaurs! You can't go wrong with that. :)

John, my memory's been glitching at least 2-3 times/day for a while now. So making the mental connections is not as easy for me as was once the case.

Will take your advice under strong consideration!

Good to hear. :)

Just take the series with the grain of salt that is intended to be taken when watching it. :)

Btw, are you going to be at CanGames this year? I'll be running the Primeval RPG at the convention on Friday night ("Message in An Anomaly") and Saturday evening ("Feast or Flight"). You could come and play... :)

Not sure if I'll be able to show up yet, but I expect some of the rest of the CAN-CON 2012 organizing team might be poking their heads in from time to time over the course of the weekend.

That's good news to hear. Hope some of you guys can get into one of the two games of the Primeval RPG. It'll give you a good feel for the tv series.

Look forward to hearing what you think of the Primeval UK tv series when you get a chance to catch some episodes.
